Today is Siena's 7 month birthday. She had her 6-month check-up last week (a bit late because she got an ear infection when it was originally scheduled). She weighed 17 lbs. 15 oz (75% percentile) and was 27-1/2" long (95th percentile). She rolls over from her back to her tummy and back again, scoots backwards on her tummy and can almost sit up all by herself.
Her vocal skills have improved as well. Last week she was making these crazy pirate/monster noises (Aaaarrrgh!!!) and 2 nights ago exploded with Da da da da da! Hans doesn't admit that she doesn't know what da da is, but I suspect that she may think it's her foot. :) Eating her feet is still a favorite pastime.
We've been to the beach twice. The first trip wasn't too successful (above--it was really hot and she needed a nap), but the 2nd (this past weekend) was great. She actually played a bit in the sand and got her legs wet.
