Siena entered the big-girl world of semi-solid food on Tuesday night. She ate about 3/4 T of rice cereal. She mostly licked the cereal off of the spoon. At this point she is learning how to eat solids and isn't really getting much from it nutrition-wise. Once she masters this then we can start adding squished fruits and veggies.

Finally, Aunt Jill!!
My best friend Jill lives in California and was about to undergo IVF when Siena was born so she has not been able to visit. The IVF was successful and Jill and her hubby, PC, are expecting a little girl at the end of August! Now that she's in the 2nd trimester, Jill came out this week to visit her family and finally got to meet Siena. It was awesome to see her and to introduce Siena to her godmother. :)
Oh thumb, glorious thumb!
Happy Easter!
The Easter Bunny visited Siena in Richmond and brought her many stuffed bunnies. She loves one of them so much (a gift from Grannie Ruth) that she rolled over for the first time trying to get to it! She hasn't figured out how to get her arm out from under her so she doesn't stay on her belly for long. Click here for more Easter pictures.
Happy Birthday, Mam!
Hans's grandmother, Mam, turned 90 on April 2nd and the family gave her a real nice party. Siena got to meet her cousins and especially had fun with Madison, who just turned one. Unfortunately, Mam fell and broke her hip the next day, but is doing much better now. Click here for party pictures.
