Goggles

You cannot underestimate the proper eye protection when you brush your teeth.

Tonight, Siena's swim teacher introduced her to the glory of goggles. Of course we then had to take a bath in them, brush our teeth in them and read books in them. When Hans mentioned that you don't sleep in goggles, Siena said, "No, you don't." But clearly all the other activities are goggle friendly.

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas. Siena was a bit overwhelmed by all of the gifts and chose to open a few and then play and then open a few more. One of the favorites was this horsey bought on mega sale by my mom when Siena was 3 months old!

At some point in the unwrapping madness, Siena asked for her scissors and proceeded to cut up ribbons and paper while everyone else unwrapped.

Cookie Baking

Siena has become quite the helper in the kitchen and she LOVED our annual ritual of cutting, baking and icing Christmas cookies.
