KINDERGARTEN!!!!

Siena, the Kindergartener, is VERY excited. I cannot wait to hear her tales tonight.

And modelling the tooth she lost Saturday (1st one!).

Our 3rd grader next door neighbor will show her how it's done.

With no hesitation, she's gone.  Bye, Mom!!

Spring Music Show

After several years of tearful music programs where Siena would only perform if one of us sat on the stage with her, she put on an amazing show!!

Siena and Hans went to a Father Daughter dance with our neighbors. Siena was over the moon with excitement!

After months of discussion, 

Siena decided to get her hair cut. 

No more fights over hair brushing!!!

January

Highlights for January...  

Siena and I went to LA to visit Aunt Jill and family. 

We got to watch a Ravens playoff win while we were there!

We had a tiny bit of snow which would turn out to be about all we got all winter.

And Siena played lacrosse for a few weeks!

Gnomeo!

Santa brought Siena a guinea pig for Christmas. Siena named him Gnomeo, after her new favorite movie, Gnomeo & Juliet. He's a sweet little guy and she's quite smitten.

Christmas Day

Hooray! Siena laid in bed Christmas Eve from 8:30 to 11:00 periodically looking out the window for Santa sightings (claims to have seen him too, advantages to living near the airport!). She finally fell asleep and Santa came!

He brought a cage with a gift card for a guinea pig! He also left a coconut (see below).

JoJo & Grandpa spent the night so we could all be together for Santa. Siena also got to spend part of the morning with Grandma & Pop through skype!

Then more celebrations at Beckmas that night! Whew!

Siena practically trimmed the tree on her own this year.

Christmas in Richmond was super fun--especially with Tommy!
